What is ZeroUpload?
ZeroUpload is how FitsUnder works: your browser reads, compresses and saves the file right on your device. The file is never sent to our server or anywhere else, so no one else can see it.
Check it yourself: turn off Wi‑Fi or switch on airplane mode, then compress a photo — it still works.
More about privacy- The document opens right in your browser. It is never sent to our server: we don't see it and don't keep it.
- Your signature is drawn and placed right here, on your device. Nobody sees it but you.
- Works even without internet: open this page, turn off Wi‑Fi and sign.
- Tick “Remember on this device” and the signature stays only in this browser. One button deletes it.
The Word document was converted to PDF on this device. Check that everything is in place: nothing can be changed in the finished PDF.
Choose a document first — then these buttons put a signature, initials, the date, text, a tick or a cross right on the page.
How it works
- Drop the PDF, Word document or a photo of the page.
- Add your signature, initials, the date or a tick and drag them into place.
- Download the signed PDF — under the form’s limit if you need it.
This puts a picture of your signature on the document — the way application forms, statements and agreements between people are usually signed. Government services and notaries may require a qualified electronic signature instead.
Questions
Is it safe for passports and contracts?
Yes. Your file is read and compressed by your own browser and saved straight back to your device. It is never sent to a server, so nobody else can see it. Want proof? On the right side of the page there is an internet button. Turn off Wi‑Fi or switch on airplane mode: the button turns green and says “Offline”. Compress your file anyway — it works, and the result even shows “Internet: off — compressed on this device only”.
How can I check that my file goes nowhere?
Easily. Open FitsUnder, then turn the internet off: switch on airplane mode or turn off Wi‑Fi. Drag in a photo and compress it — it works, because the compression runs right on your computer or phone. Without internet your file has nowhere to go. That is why we can say it plainly: your files never leave your device, and no one has access to them.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit.
