Privacy

FitsUnder is built so that your files never leave your device.

Your files

When you choose a file, your browser reads it, compresses it and offers the result for download. All of this runs in the page on your own computer or phone. Files are not uploaded, stored or shared — the site has no server that could receive them. You can check it yourself in your browser’s developer tools: the Network tab shows that no file is sent.

If you open another limit or language while a file is chosen, the file is kept in your browser’s own storage on this device for a moment, so you don’t have to choose it again. It is deleted as soon as the next page picks it up.

No accounts, no cookies

There is no sign-up and the site sets no cookies or other tracking.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data — such as IP address and browser type — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This data never includes your files.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example when advertising is added, this page will be updated first. Last updated: October 2026.
